Turning three means you're old enough to start taking camping/jeep trips with your dad. We wasted no time with Carter and the two set off this past weekend down South with some friends. I have to say, I was so nervous on so many levels. I half expected to see them back at the house 24 hours later because Carter was miserable, therefore dad was miserable. But he did SO GREAT! He loved every bit of it. He came home filthy, which means he had fun.
When they got home, I asked if he missed me.
"No, I just missed my brudder Max."

Thats is soo cute that he missed him. What a good brother. Thanks for your friendship means a lot to me.
CARTER! You da man! You can tell he is having a blast!
That is so cute! What a great family tradition!
I'm so glad he had such a great time! He is definitely a little man!
(Sigh)...that made me happy. I am in love with the picture of him shoveling sand with dirt in his hair, holes in his pants, and a dirty shirt that says, "Dad's Little Rebel". I love him.
He is growing up so fast! Can't believe how big and confident he look on his new adventure. Love my boy!
I'm sorry, but that is just the cutest thing I have seen all day! (and I have four pretty cute kids to look at =) That totally made my day complete. I'm sure, he is camping with the boys? At three? I also love that he missed Max more than you (so he said, we all know he missed his mama too)
That is great that he is suck a good brother and loving to Max. How is Max doing these days? How is the new house?
What a cutie! I love those pics...I love it when boys get dirty!
Those are darling - it's the only thing that makes me want Reed to grow up. When Reed turns 3 can he and Jeff join in?
