The Motherload of Forts

We babysat for friends again last weekend and I thought it might be fun to build a fort. Of course, I was thinking about throwing a blanket over our kitchen table and calling it good. But Matt got involved, and out came the kid in him. Here's what it ended up looking like:

This last picture shows just how creative Matt got. The kids had a riot, so thanks Matt!

Man ALIVE! All that did was challenge me to make a bigger one with the boys when I watch them next. Highly unlikely, though.

P.S. When I first read your post title, I thought it said, "Motherload of Farts" and I thought, "This outta be good."

Matt - is the greatest dad ever!
Maryann, remember the forts you Phil and Julie used to make all over the living room. Lynda Taylor, my visiting teacher came over and she loved sitting in there giving me the lesson. Didn't our dog Joey, used to sleep in there also? Fun times!

Matt! You win! That fort is probably the most awesome fort I have ever seen! And BELIEVE ME...I know my forts.

I might need to take notes from Matt. I guess I will need to know how to make a great fort when Kohen gets a little older.

Looks like a blast! At this point Maryann, a blanket over the table would be a step up for me!

That fort rocks! My boys would have thought they had died and gone to heaven.
