So yesterday Deal or No Deal held auditions in Salt Lake for their show. Since I've wanted to be on that show since the day it began, I couldn't refuse. My good friend Kristin and I faced the crowd and don't worry... we only waited 7 hours in line. Then we had 20 seconds to sell ourselves to the judges. I made it through to the next round where I had 15 seconds to sell myself to the big wigs. We were in groups of 10, and after we each did our thing, they said thanks and they'll keep our application on file. Whatever that means.
It was fun though, and we met some interesting people in line. I can't believe how many people showed up. I was #3013 out of about 10000. CRAZY! But I guess I'm just as crazy as the other 9999.

Maryann! That is so awesome! I totally would have been crazy and stood in line with you if I had known. I hope "keeping your application on file" gets you on the show!
Maryann, You are awesome! I always think about doing those things but I am never brave enough! You always leave me in awe!
Wow, I hope you get to be on it. I have always wanted to send in an audition tape. I bet it was quite an adventure.
Maryann,
If you do get on, will you consider having me as one of the three people on the side shouting, "No deal, Maryann! No deal!"?
I'm so curious to know what you said/did in the 20 and 15 seconds you were given...that is awesome Maryann!
