I have been slacking this week on blogging and so I'm a few days late with this birthday post for Matt. His birthday was on Monday, and I had to work. So he had a fun filled day with the boys that consisted of swimming, lunch at Red Robin and a movie. That night, we reserved our clubhouse and invited our friends in the neighborhood over for cake and ice cream, swimming, and most importantly... the Bachelorette finale. Matt did learn an important lesson: Working on your backswing in the house is not ideal.
And I learned a valuable lesson as well: Never walk barefoot right after your husband breaks a light until the area is completely vacuumed.
I hope your day was fun Matt! I love you and think you are fantastic!

Oh i have stepped on glass before with bare feet and I feel your pain. It hurts!
Thanks for letting us come and hang with the cool kids for Matt's birthday. :-) We had a great time.
Crash and Ouch! And isn't that the day Max was feeling so sick?
Happy birthday Matt!
Phil has also had to learn the hard way that practicing backswings in the house is not ok (he gets a little intense with Wii tennis).
So glad you watched the bachelorette finale at your boys birthday! A girl after my own heart. Please post more things that your mom says..we need our hearts lifted on a daily basis too!
