Carter has given me a run for my money the past 4 or 5 days. He's been a little stink, and that's putting it nicely! I finally figured out the problem Monday morning about 4 AM, after 2 episodes of Mickey Mouse and a drive around Herriman to get him asleep. He told me his ear hurt and I never thought those words would bring me so much joy. There was a solution to this madness!!
Yesterday I had a list of errands to run while Max was at school (SO much easier with just one toddler). I sent Max off to school, then meant to get up and get things done, but I couldn't. Carter was back to himself and being so dang cute that I decided that staying home and taking in all his cuteness was so much more appealing. We laid around and talked and took pictures of the different poses he wanted on camera. All I can say is... let's give it up for antibiotics!!
Some noteworthy things he's said lately:
* "Mom, do cars have ears?"
* After I found him hiding in a closet: "I'm hiding so you don't smell my poop."
* After I asked him if he liked the pictures we hung on the wall: "I surely don't!" (with severe attitude)
* Me: "Man! What's up with all this diarrhea you've had?"
Carter: "I don't know! I've tried EVERYTHING!"

I agree with you about the anitbiotics! I'm so glad that he was able to tell you that his ears hurt, and that he is back to his cute self!
That's so cute I love reading everything your boys say. It's so cute and I can't wait for leila to start talking. (Or can I?)
WOW! That's all I can say about that!
Love,
Toni
Ear aches are the absolute worst...poor little!
I can totally relate, I have had two babies whining and crying since last Sunday, turns out they both have ear infections. Thank you to the antibiotics and the hope they give me for a better, happier tomorrow! Carter is so cute and I love the things he says. I keep thinking of the pictures you hung in the hallway and how he wanted to hold the medicine dropper in the store. He is so funny!
Cute Carter! You just can't help but want to squeeze his little face! He has a very spunky personality!
Hip Hip for meds!
I laughed so hard at Carter trying everything to cure his diarrhea.
SOOO glad Carter is back to himself again, and that you had that special time with him. Love those boys!!!!!
