30?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

So I turned 30 on Friday. Yikes. I kind of struggled with this! Matt was awesome and stepped up to the plate to make me feel better about it. He took the day off and got a sitter for the boys from that morning until Sat morning! We went to a photography class that I've been wanting to go to and learned a little more about my camera I got for Christmas. After that, we drove downtown, and met up with this random guy that I'd never seen before. Next to him were 3 Segways sitting there, waiting for us to jump on! The guy took us on a little tour of downtown, through Memory Grove, by the Capital, Gateway, ect. It was SO awesome! I was laughing so hard at first, and then I was just giddy for the rest of the ride.

After that, we had reservations for dinner at 7, and we had a little time to kill. We decided we were slightly under dressed for dinner, and thought it would be fun to go buy new outfits right then. So we headed to the Gateway and bought new outfits, changed in the car, and headed for the restaurant.

He took me to The Melting Pot! I was so excited because I had never been and had always wanted to. It was incredible! I can't remember the last time I ate so much and thoroughly enjoyed every bite! After we rolled out of the restaurant, we decided that since we didn't have to get home to get the kids, we'd go to a movie.

Matt was a good sport and took me to see The Other Boleyn Girl since I've wanted to see that. I actually enjoyed it. It wasn't the most uplifting story, but I thought it was very well done.
After that, we had had enough, so we went home to bed. Matt even let me sleep in in the morning while he went to pick up the boys. It was a great birthday, and thanks to all those who wished me a happy birthday!

Wow! You two sure know how to celebrate a birthday! The Segways look so fun. While Gene and I were in Disney World last year, they had some to rent for going all over the parks.
Gene and I saw The Other Bolyen Girl and really enjoyed the historical info we learned.
You all look so stylish sitting on your porch!
Check out our blog where Max and Carter helped plant the flowers. So cute! Love ya tons!cx
