President Hinckley died this evening at age 97. What a remarkable man. He was so easy to love, and I will never forget him and his example. He has been the prophet the majority of my adult life, and I grew to love and respect him so much. Every time I saw him, whether it be on TV or in person, there was this indescribable awe and I was immediately filled with the spirit. One of my favortie memories of him was seeing him at the Nauvoo Temple dedication. He made that experience such an incredible one. I love him so much and can only imagine the welcome that he received tonight.

Thank you for sharing your sentiments. You said it perfectly: He is a Hero.
Miss him already. But imagine how happy he is.
You're too sweet! Great post title! I hope to get that trip back on track ASAP!
Did you hear on the news that his cute friend died a couple hours after he did? The wife of Pres. Hinkley's friend said, "Our family believes that Gordon came to get him." Cute story.
