Caribbean Cruise

Matt and I had the opportuntiy to go on a cruise with his family last month. It was incredible and I have to say I had a hard time coming back to reality after being spoiled all week. We left out of Ft Lauderdale and stopped at (Labadee) Haiti, Jamaica and Cozumel. We went on an absolutely amazing ship. It's one of Royal Caribbean's biggest ships called The Oasis of the Seas. I seriously couldn't believe how massive this thing was. Huge. As soon as we got on the ship our camera basically died. Fortunately they had a camera shop on board and we got a decent deal. So this is our first picture taken on the cruise which was the first picture taken with our new camera (by the girl who sold it to us).

This was the whole group at dinner on formal night. The food was great and it was hilarious watching Mark order 3 appetizers, 2-3 Entrees and 3 desserts. Speaking of Mark, I think I laughed the hardest when the photographer was trying to take his picture at dinner and he kept making a face every time she went to take the picture. That face will forever be engraved in my memory and I thank you for that Mark! :)


This was taken just after we got off the ship in Labadee. This was such a fun day! Matt and I went on a jet ski tour of the island and had a blast driving those things in the ocean. The waves are much bigger than in a lake!

My favorite part of the whole vacation: sitting on this beach and listening to the waves come in while reading and snoozing. I had dreamed of this moment for years and I soaked it up as much as I could!


In Jamaica we rode ziplines through the trees and rapelled down a tree at one point. We also hiked the Dunn River which was so much fun. I didn't get a picture with my camera of that venture so I'll have to steal one from someone else! Good times.

In Cozumel we went snorkeling. I had never been before and it was really fun! We saw lots of cool fish and some sea turtles! The color of the water was absolutely
breathtaking!


This vacation was awesome. In addition to the relaxation, the beautiful scenery and the fun excursions, we just really had such a fun time!

The entertainment on the ship was fabulous...

But most of all, it was just good quality US time!


Oh and we played with our new camera a lot too!
