The boys wanted to play baseball this spring, so we got the okay to put them both on the same team. Last night was their first game and it was in the middle of a huge wind storm. It was insane! Carter made it very clear that he was not interested in playing in the wind, but Max had a great time.
We got a few pictures of the game, but it was pretty tough getting any good ones because of the wind. Here are a few from their practice...
Matt or myself runs Max around the bases. The first time he got to first base he yelled, "I did it!!" The "crowd" cheered for him and he turned to me with a huge grin on his face and said, "They're clapping for me mom!" It was a great moment.

How adorable!
I am not crying right now.
We are excited to get to their games. This week obviously has been hectic, but when we return...they are on our calendar! I'll bring tissues.
That's seriously awesome! Hope you guys have a great season :)
Even in the gusty windstorm, Max was having the best time ever! Just watching him on first base yelling "I did it" and seeing that huge grin
made my day, no my week, actually made all of life better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm not crying either right now.
How cool! That was a great post! We love those boys!
Ok....so I am not teary eyed either.
I'll have to watch for you. We are playing baseball this year too. DOn't know why we don't coordinate and get on the same team. Rookie's right?
