Happy 5th B-Day Carter!

Today Carter turned five. Man, I love this kid. He has brought so much joy into our lives and I continually marvel at how fantastic he is.



Tonight I asked him to choose wherever he wanted to eat dinner for his birthday. I MAY or may not have made a recommendation to steer him away from what I knew would be his answer: McDonald's. I've just had about enough of the golden arches since it's Carter's goal to aquire every dragon from How to Train Your Dragon in the happy meals. Sadly, we just about have them all.
Anyway, I suggested Wingers and told him that the waiters and waitresses would probably sing happy birthday to him and bring him cake. He thought about that for a minute then said, "Well, I wonder if they have terrible singing voices or if they have good singing voices... We better just go to McDonald's."
Unfortunately he got a dragon he already has. But we had fun and he was happy. Pictures of his Race Car party to come...
