Waiting for the bus...

It's school time again for Max and a first for Carter! Their classrooms are right next to each other and they go at the same time, so they get to ride the bus together. I'm finally comfortable with Max going to school, and now I'm starting all over again with Carter! I was so nervous for him, and to make matters worse, I had to work the first day so the nanny put him on the bus. She was probably so sick of my phone calls to check how he was doing before the bus came, after it left, and when he got home. And yes, I was one of those paranoid moms that snuck in the school on my lunch break and watched him for a few minutes through the door window. All in all, he loves school and riding the bus with his big brother.

That is so cute! I was the same way when I dropped Levi off at pre-school and when I dropped him of for his first day at high school. I wanted to walk him in and hold his hand and help him find his class. Funny kid he did not want me to come, go figure!

I LOVE how their backpacks are bigger than they are! I'm with Kati...James wouldn't let me go to him his first day of high school either. And, get this, he is not going to let me go on his first date! RUDE!
