Poor Max. On Friday he had his tonsils out, adenoids out, and tubes (3rd set!) placed in his ears. The surgery went fine, and although we had to stay in post surgery for a few hours because of his refusal to drink anything, he did finally give in and we were able to go home. They say the pain is the worst on day 3 to 7, and it turns out they're right. We have been shoving Loratab in his mouth constantly and the poor guy his pretty drugged up. But he's been taking all his medications faithfully even though hates every bit of it. I finally managed to get a half smile out of him tonight. I know this will be worth it, but seeing your child so miserable is heartbreaking!

What a brave little guy...and mom!
Poor guy, I don't ever want him to be uncomfortable, he is just too cute.
Poor Maximus! He is so adorable! There is something about that child that makes my heart melt! I love Carter too of course, but I just feel a special pull to Max. Just love him!
I hope you get to feeling better Max! You're such a handsome little guy - take your meds! Mommy is giving you the good stuff!
Sweet Max, I hope he feels better soon. It is so hard to see your kids sick!
Poor little!!! I hope he gets feeling better super soon!
Oh Maryann, he just melts me! I can only imagine how he must tug at your heartstrings especially when he is going through a tri-medical procedural ordeal (don't I sound smart)!?
That little smile is priceless! We hope you are feeling better, Brave Max.
Wayne, D'Lonna, and boys
I am praying that Max will continue talking in this soft, high voice he has acquired from all this once this has passed.
I hope he feels better now. He is such an angel.
