Max continues to amaze me with his dedication and hard work. At therapy a few weeks ago, he pleasantly surprised us by walking around the therapy floor in a walker. The kicker is... he propelled the walker by himself, and was not strapped in to the walker to support himself. It was all done on his own!! Here's a little sample:
After his therapy appointment at Shriner's yesterday, he had an appointment with the doctor that is over him at Shriner's. After positive feedback on his hip X-rays and his development, she had him stand for her, then said, "Oh yeah... he's going to be a walker alright!"
He is doing so great and we continue to have faith that soon he will be walking on his own!!

AWESOME! I'm glad to hear that Max is doing so well!
Yeah Maryann and Max!! That is such wonderful news! Way to go Max!
That is so AWESOME I'm so happy for him. He is so cute. I can't stand myself.
What a miracle! That video brought tears to my eyes!
What a sweet and special little boy...
Congratulations little Max!
Thanks for making me cry. He is the cutest! I am SO happy about this. Yipee Max!
Keep up the good work Max.
Go Max! and Go Maryann! With your love and dedication it is a sure thing he will be running in circles soon!
Carter and Max spent the night. Yesterday Max Carter and I took a walk (Max using his walker). Gene measured the distance and we had walked 2 tenths of a mile!!!! He was not strapped in but just holding to the sides. Every once in awhile Carter or I would give him a little push BUT YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN SO PROUD OF MAX! He was smiling the entire time!!!! YEAH!!!!!
That made me so happy. I may or may not have watched it at least 30 times in a row. In fact, I have the dialog memorized.
I'm so happy.
Way to go Max! What a doll - that's awesome!
By the way - thanks for the update on boys - I'm so glad I have so much to look up to with Reed and the terrible threes. That means I have 3 more straight years of it - until the next one of course!
That video made my day. And he was so excited! Just remember that all that hard work really does pay off! Nice job Maryann and Matt.
JUST AMAZING! I'm so excited for the future, and to be able to watch him run a 5K! You are such an awesome mom! Keep up the good work, Max! We love you!
