Max's testimony

This past Sunday was Fast Sunday which meant one thing... we'd hear this from Max every 20 seconds, "Is it my turn yet?"
Once that question turned into a statement ("Dad, it's MY turn NOW"), Matt walked Max up to the pulpit. He was so incredibly excited and had a huge smile on his face while his little legs frantically "ran" as fast as they could. As soon as he got up to the microphone, he enthusiastically said,

"WELCOME TO PRIMARY EVERYONE!"
(Congregation laughs)
"TODAY, WE'RE GOING TO START BY..."
(Matt intervenes and cuts him off)
"Oh. Sorry about that everybody. I've gotta do my testimony. So, today we will start with my testimony. I'm thankful for Jesus and I'm thankful for my family. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen."

He wasn't nearly enthusiastic about his testimony as he was when he thought he was conducting Primary. That's okay... he still brought smiles to many, if not all faces. And for the rest of the meeting, everyone within 5 rows of us heard, "Mom I did my testimony!!!" every 20 seconds.

(Sigh). Thank you. I just love Max. He is going to continue to make people smile for the rest of his life. That is just what he does.

Honestly, I felt the spirit just reading this!

Would it be too much trouble, next fast Sunday, to bring along your video camera?

It is so fun to watch how excited Max gets about going to church and bearing testimony and saying prayers. He definitely knows Jesus personally!!
