The boys and I made a fort today...partially to entertain them, and partially for me. Let's be honest: forts are awesome. I remember making tons of forts when I was little (and not so little, i.e. SUU). And sleeping in forts? Even better.
Note: I promise I dress my children completely every day. It's just that by the end of the day, you never know what Carter's clothing will be drenched in.

Forts = Good, Clean, Fun (unless you are watching a dirty movie in it).
P.S. When they ARE dressed, you have some of the best dressed boys on this planet.
We used to make forts all the time when we were kids and my kids love to make them too! It's an outdoor adventure indoors! Fun Fun!
You are such a cool mom!
Ruby and I made a fort a couple of weeks ago out of couch cushions. It was pretty wobbly though...definitely not for sleeping in. Yours looks much more secure!
Do you remember using practically every blanket we had in the house? I remember my visiting teachers coming over one day and there was NO place to sit in the living room because it was one big fort! If I remember correctly, you and Julie were even playing inside while we visited. There's something about sitting by a blanket covered couch and standing in a water filled rain barrel that was really exciting for the two of you!!!
Fun memories!
