Max's baseball team ended the season with a bang! They got to go play a game with the triple A All-Stars on the Bees field. It was SUCH a cool experience! They were each paired up with a player to help them and Max's buddy was Sam Narron. We waited in the BEES dugout for the game to start:
This was Max's team, posing for the media while the announcer called out their names and positions. Max played second base.
When each player was up to bat, they would film them and put them up on the scoreboard. It was so fun to see him up there!
Sam looks a little drunk in this picture, but he was really nice! Max was SO excited to see Bumble.
Posing after the game. The camera man with the braid was from Fox 13 news and interviewed Max and myself about the game. Max was so excited to be on the news! As we were leaving the park, he kept asking everyone we passed, "Wanna watch me on TV tonight?!"
After the game someone came up to Max and asked him for his autograph.
Max had a blast and we had so much fun cheering for him. Max had quite the cheering section and when he was up to bat, the announcer heard us all cheer and said, "Sounds like Max is the hometown favorite!" Thanks to all who came to cheer him on and many thanks to Shriner's and the Bees for giving Max this opportunity!!

I absolutely loved this. I love Max on the big screen. I love that he had this experience. I love drunk Sam. I hate that I didn't get to see it.
Wow, that is the coolest story ever. So cute and so nice of the all stars to play with the kids.
What a great time for Max and your whole family. That is so cool.
It was so great to be there and really witness how special this exprience was for Max and his team. So grateful to his wonderful coach Laura who arranged this event and the handicapped league. She is a sweetheart. And especially grateful for Maryann, Matt, and Carter who constantly support our Max! Lots of good people in this world!! Thank you all!
