Max turned 6!!

I can't believe it's been 6 years since my little Mighty Max fought so hard to get here. He is my buddy and I simply cannot imagine my life without him, exactly the way he is. I am the luckiest mom in the whole world!!! A few weeks ago I took Max to the party store and had him pick out a theme for his first friend birthday party. He chose Handy Manny, which didn't surprise me one bit!

We got the clubhouse and turned it into Max's repair shop

Once the kids got there and found their hat to wear, I told them we had 3 jobs to do. First, they had to paint the clubhouse Manny made for his nephew:

Then they had to build something out of clay:

And finally, they had to put together their "broken" necklaces.

The cakes turned out pretty cute even though the flash on my camera was giving me grief!

Thanks to all who came, Max had an absolute blast. He spent a lot of time in the cardboard fort at the end of the party and when the last guest left he yelled, "Thanks for coming.... I hope I miss you!"

That was the cutest party! I can't even begin to tell you how much his comment, "bye, I hope I miss you" has made my day. In fact, it has made my whole Christmas season complete.

Ummm, excuse me...pictures of all the guests except Beck?? Just because he didnt' do "his jobs" doesnt' mean he shouldn't get represented!
Just kidding. It was a great party! You are one fabulous mom!

I just hate that we weren't able to attend Max's Repair Shop. I hope he missed us.
