Carter-isms

It's no secret that I have a sweet tooth (or 28). Unfortunately I think I passed that on to Carter. He could live off sugar. Whenever he eats a cupcake, he licks off the frosting and calls it good. I guess the cake part just isn't sweet enough. I had to laugh when I saw the remains of the Cinnamon Sugar bagel I got him today. He of course bit off the part with the sugar, and left the rest.

Here are the latest can't-help-but-laugh things he's said:

- After slipping in the bathtub and falling on his bum:
"Mom, that hurt my bum. Does it look okay?"
"Yeah, it looks fine."
"Does it still have a crack in it?"

- After taking a bite of his pizza:
"Mom, is this how you say 'good' in Spanish? Mmmmmmmmm... Mexico!"

- After his first soccer game, I thought I'd give him tips:
"Carter, when the other team has the ball, you have to try to steal it away."
"I don't want to do that."
"Why?"
"Because he had it first!"

Cinnamon sugar bagel!! MmmmmmmMexico

You have GOT to publish a book of Carter-isms. I can't decide which of these made me laugh the hardest (although worrying about an intact crack is pretty hard to beat...)

I was going to say the same thing, you need to make a book. I can't wait to see him tomorrow. I love the crack comment, I am laughing out loud.

He is a funny kid. I love the concern about his crack! I had to share that one with Paul.

Oh my gosh he is so awesome, I am sitting here trying not to laugh to loud and wake my kids up. Too funny Carter.

Carter was so funny the other night when he wanted the little ambulance Max was playing with. He gently took it away from Max and said, "Max I'll hold it for you while you drink your chocolate milk." Max immediately started to drink while Carter played with the ambulance. Quite a diplomat!
