It would happen to me...

Whenever I hear about people getting a concussion, I picture a bad a car accident, or a tough football game. Maybe they've fallen from a distance and landed on their head, or perhaps fell on their bike and hit their head on a rock.

Apparently, all I have to do to get one is WALK into a pole. Which, embarrassingly enough, is exactly what happened on Saturday. There I was, minding my own business in Hobby Lobby, browsing the aisles to help my friend find a plant arrangment, and I decide to turn to the aisle to my right. My head, however was turned to the left to look at what was down that aisle. Then, SMACK. Right into a cement pole.

WHO puts a pole in the middle of a narrow aisle?!?! Granted, I should have looked to see where I was going, but come on!!!!! At the very least, pad the dang thing, for idiots like me that come along.

I'm so sorry - that is very sad! I would also be the one to a)walk right into a pole, and b)get a concussion without a great story!

Hope you're feeling better soon!

I think what I love most about being an adopted Dana is the Dana sense of humor. Seriously, great story and I hope you are feeling better :)

Oh, I'm sorry! I've had a few concussions myself and they are no fun! And it's a good thing we all walk into poles eventually so I don't even think anything of it! Feel better!

That is so sad and yet so funny! Remember, the sadder the story, the funnier it is.
